Generating and Editing Lyrics
Follow along with this video tutorial to learn how to generate lyrics using SingMeSong's transcription function.
After creating your song, you can generate or edit lyrics in two ways:
Automatic Transcription
If you’ve uploaded a song or imported from Suno:
- Click “Transcribe Lyrics” button
- Wait while our AI analyzes your audio
- This usually takes 30-60 seconds
- Progress will be shown on screen
- Review the generated lyrics
- Edit any words or timing if needed
Manual Input
For AI-generated songs or if you prefer to enter lyrics manually:
- Click “Edit Lyrics” button
- Enter or paste your lyrics in the editor
- Use the timestamp tool to sync lyrics with audio
- Click “Add Timestamp” at desired points
- Fine-tune timing using the waveform view
Editing Tools
Our lyrics editor provides several features:
- Line-by-line timing adjustment
- Word-level synchronization
- Formatting options (bold, italic, etc.)
- Preview mode to test timing
Tips
- For best results, review AI-transcribed lyrics carefully
- Use headphones while adjusting timestamps
- Break long lines into shorter phrases for better readability
- Test your lyrics sync in preview mode before proceeding
