Today, we’re knocking that hurdle down. We are incredibly proud to introduce Batch Processing, a new beta feature that dramatically reduces the cost of video generation, making full-length AI music videos more accessible than ever before.
The Challenge: Why Was Video Generation So Expensive?
Let’s break it down. A typical 3-minute song needs about 36 video clips (36 scenes x 5 seconds each). With standard AI models, generating a single 5-second clip can cost anywhere from $0.30 to $1.00.
For a full song, that adds up fast:
- Standard Model Cost: 36 videos x ~$0.50/video = ~$18 per video
Even with a more affordable model like Seedance Lite, the cost was still significant:

The reason for this high cost isn’t just the technology itself—it’s the infrastructure. Running powerful AI servers 24/7 is expensive, especially when they’re sitting idle. We needed a smarter, more efficient way to serve you.
The Solution: Introducing Batch Processing
Imagine you’re ordering a group of items online. Instead of paying for individual shipping on every single item, you put them all in one basket and pay a single, much lower shipping cost. That’s exactly how our new Batch Processing works.
Instead of generating each video clip one by one, you can now add all your scene generations into a “batch.” We then spin up a dedicated server, process your entire batch of videos in one go, and shut it down when it’s done.
This eliminates the costly idle time and allows us to pass those savings directly on to you.
A Better Way to Think About Cost: The Service Fee
Think of it like a taxi ride. When you get in a taxi, there’s a flag-down fee—a minimum charge just to start the service, even if you’re only going one block. This fee covers the driver’s cost of getting the car to you and starting the meter.
Our AI video generation works similarly. When you request a video, we have to start a new server instance. This “cold start” has a service fee to cover the initial setup cost. If you only generate one video, you bear the full cost of this fee, making it expensive.
But here’s the game-changer: We’ve found a way to waive that fee entirely.
When your batch is large enough (i.e., you’re “sharing the ride” with many other video tasks), we completely remove the service fee. For our powerful Alibaba Wan 2.2 model, if your batch has more than 10 videos, the service fee is waived. This makes the cost per video incredibly cheap.

We’re integrating this feature with the powerful, open-source Alibaba Wan 2.2 model to give you the best balance of quality and cost.

- Create or Import your song as usual.
- Let our AI generate your Storyboard.
- Generate your Images for each scene.
- NEW: Instead of generating videos one by one, select all the scenes you want to convert and add them to the Batch Queue.
- Hit “Process Batch” and let our system work its magic! You’ll be notified when all your video clips are ready.
